As humans, we have an innate desire to share stories. Today, many of us work to express those stories through various forms of media – films, online videos, video games, audiobooks, podcasts, or something else along those lines. As a composer, I strive to help people communicate their stories by creating an accompanying original soundtrack – a soundtrack that brings out emotion and enhances the narrative.

I have created original music for storytellers from all around the world. When I see someone witness their story come to life through the music I've created, their elation brings me an indescribable sense of joy and fulfilment. I would love to share this experience with you too. Are you a storyteller? Your story deserves incredible music, and that's something I would love to help you with.

What I do:

Film/Media Scoring

Film music was responsible for singlehandedly kickstarting my passion for music and storytelling. Scoring music to media is the bread and butter of my skillset. It's also what I specialized in during my studies at the New Zealand School of Music.

Video Game Music

I had a fairly late introduction to video games, and so I discovered the wonderful world of video game music much later on in my musical journey. However, the sheer storytelling potential of such an interactive medium captivated me instantly. This drove me to develop skills in creating multi-layered and seamlessly-looping compositions to enhance player immersion.

Arranging & Orchestration

In the last few years, I've helped arrange music for a variety of projects – video game soundtrack medleys, orchestral remixes of electronic music, and even a live orchestral arrangement of the song "Scary Mrs. O'Leary" for the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra. Arranging is something I enjoy very much, particularly when I'm able to incorporate my own creative flair into the music.

How it works:

When you approach me with a project, I'll firstly determine whether it lies within the scope of my skillset. We can even hop on a voice/video call and discuss it further, if you prefer!

Following this initial discussion, I'll compose and send a short audio demo or two, free of charge. If you fall in love with the demo (as many in the past have done!), we'll sort out rates and contracts, before developing the demo into a fully-fledged piece of music. If not, I'll go back to the drawing board and try again, based on your feedback.

Throughout the composition process, I'll send you regular updates in the form of audio files, and work off the feedback you give me. This will continue until I deliver the final composition in the format you require.

If you need original music for a project you're working on, don't hesitate to flick me a message – even if it's something I haven't mentioned above!
